Airy and non-sticky basmati rice in boil-in-bag packaging. Basmati rice is mainly grown in the Punjab region, on both the Indian and Pakistani sides of the border. Basmati rice consists of long, narrow grains of rice that swell along their length and produce a white, non-glutinous rice with an aromatic taste. Cook the rice by placing the cooking bag in lightly salted boiling water. Leave to simmer covered for 10-12 minutes before lifting the bag and letting it drain. One bag equals 2 servings of rice.
